Samsung overtakes Apple, Xiaomi, market share in the first quarter of 2022

South Korean tech company Samsung has left behind Apple and Xiaomi. The company has entered the global market after 5 years. According to the report of market research firm Counter Point, Samsung's market share was 24% in the first quarter of the year 2022, which has been the highest ever record in 5 years.


This was the market share in 2017

Samsung's global market share was 25% in the year 2017. Since then, there has been a steady decline in Samsung's market share. But in April 2022, Samsung has registered a record of 24% in the market share by entering again.



Which are the best selling smartphones of Samsung

The biggest reason for Samsung's return to the global market is the entry of the smartphone series. Actually, there has been a lot of demand for Samsung Galaxy A22 Series and low-cost Galaxy A smartphones in the global market. This is one reason why the market share of Samsung smartphones has jumped in the first quarter of the year itself in the global market.


Apple market grew 1%

If we talk about the market growth of Apple, Xiaomi, other smartphone brands other than Samsung, then in April 2022, the total market share of Apple has been 15%. At the same time, the total market share of Xiaomi has been 12%. Apple's market share has seen a jump of 1% in April 2022 as compared to the year 2017. Whereas in the last 5 years, the global market share of Xiaomi has increased from 4 percent to 12 percent.
